Associate Attorney
Pragya Gupta is an Associate Attorney at Malik Law Firm PLLC, where she represents clients in a broad range of humanitarian immigration matters, including asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), VAWA self-petitions, and U and T visas. Admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2025, she earned her LL.M. from the University of Washington School of Law. Before joining the firm, she worked with the Washington Defender Association, contributing to statewide crimmigration resources used by public defenders across Washington. Prior to her U.S. practice, she worked across government and private-sector legal roles in India, including with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and in litigation before the Supreme Court and High Courts. Having navigated personal and family immigration journeys across India, Canada, and the United States, she brings both professional rigor and genuine empathy to every client she serves. Pragya holds her Indian law degrees from the prestigious National Law Universities - a B.A./LL.B. from NUJS, Kolkata, and an LL.M. in Business Law from NLU Delhi.
